
Ingredients
Potatoes- 2 or 3(cut into medium thick cubes)
Mustard seeds- 1tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Curry leaves - 2 stigs
Fennel seeds - 3 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1tsp
Garam masala powder - 2 tsp
Salt -to taste
Oil - for frying
Preparation :
1.Pour some oil in a pan.When it becomes hot put the urad dal and stir until it becomes brown in color .
2.Then add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.When it pops up add curry leaves and the potato pieces and stir well so that it get mixed with dal and seeds.
3.The add the powders and salt and stir it well.Stir gently.
4.Cover and cook without adding water for 10 min, occasionaly stiring it.
5. When potatoes are cooked, Uncover and saute till potatoes turn golden brown and crispy.(in th last add besan flour for more taste)
