
Ingredients
1 1/2 Cup All purpose flour
1 Cup Sugar
A pinch of food color ( red )
1 Cup ghee
5 Cardamom , crushed
3/4 Cup Roasted cashew nuts , crushed coarsely
2 Cup water
Method:
1.Mix the flour and little water well .Add water bit by bit , make dough.Set aside for 45 mins .
2.Now add 2 cups of water and mix well then see the milk forming.Separate the milk and set aside.repeat it 4 times.then u will get thicker version of milk will settle at the bottom .
3.Get rid of the thin milk which floats on top .
4.In a heavy bottom pan , add the milk, sugar and food color ,Stir until it starts to thicken .
5.Add the ghee bit by bit , while stirring all the time.Continue stirring.
6.Once the ghee separates from halva , add the cardamom powder and the nuts .
7.Pour on a greased tray and cool it.Cut into pieces .
serve warm or at room temperature.
