Ravva Laddoo



Ingredients:

3 cups semolina(bombay ravva)
2 1/2 cups sugar or as per taste
1 elachi
1 cup melted ghee
Coconut grated - 1 1/2 Cup(optional)
dry fruits of ur choice finely chopped 1/2 cup

Method:

1.Heat 1 tbsp ghee ,fry semolina on low flame in a thick bottomed vessel stirring it continously.fry it for abt 10 min or till it comes to light brown color.if the ravva is not fried properly it cannot be stored for many days and it doesn't taste good.
u get a kind of raw taste.so fry till light brown on veryvery low flame.keep aside.
2.Heat another tbsp of ghee and fry chopped almonds & cashews.
3.When they are done, add coconut and fry until you get nice aroma, sweety smell. (But again don't over fry it).
3.mix sugar ,ghee .stir it well.add ground elachi and dry fruits .mix well.
4.let it cool for a minute and mix well using ur two hand for 1 minute.add 1/2 spoon of ghee, if u can't make a ball,add little milk to the mixture.
5.When it is warm enough to touch, make this into small balls.
Delicious easy sweet is ready!!
Stays in an airtight container at room temperature for abt a week.
