
Ingredients :
250 gm besan(chickpea flour ), sifted
250 gm ground sugar
100 gm ghee
3/4 cup cashew nut pieces
3/4 cup golden raisin
1 tsp green cardamom or elaichi powdered
Preparation :
1.Heat the ghee until it smokes, then lower the heat. Add the besan and fry on a medium heat until it is a golden colour.Add cashew nuts and fry for another 3-4 minutes.Turn off the heat for two or three minutes and add the sugar.
2.When it is cooled add raisin,cardomom powder to mixture, grease your palms with ghee and form the mixture into balls.
Set aside to cool and harden. Store in air-tight containers.
