Pizza Sauce


Ingredients:

1 (28 oz.) can chopped tomatoes(put the tomatoes in a processor to get
them chopped fine)
1 small can tomato paste plus a little water to rinse out the can
1 to 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried basil
Parsley, fresh, finely minced

Method:
Saute the garlic in the olive oil in a large saucepan. Add the tomatoes,
tomato paste and water, the sugar and mix well. Simmer about 20 minutes
stirring frequently add the rest of the ingredients and simmer another 10
minutes. Refrigerate any left over sauce or it freezes well for the next
time. I sometimes add some Parmesan cheese to the last few minutes of
cooking time. Taste the sauce, if you want more of any seasoning add it
the last few minutes of cooking.
