Murukulu(Janthikalu)



Ingredients:

2 cups rice flour
1/2 cup besan (gram flour) or urad dal flour
2 tbsp Ajwain/Tymol seeds (Vaamu)
1/4 cup sesame seeds(black or white)
1 tsp cumin seeds(jeera)
1 tsp red chilli powder
salt to taste
water to mix the dough

Method:

1.Mix all the ingredients with warm water and make a dough.
2.Put the dough in muruku maker and press into hot oil in small circular shapes.
3.Just by changing the discs in the maker u can make any shape u like.
4.Fry till golden brown, remove from oil and drain off any excess oil on a paper towel.
Store them in air tight container after they are cooled.
