Appalu(With Jaggery)



Ingredients:

Rice flour-½kg
Jaggery-½kg(grated)
Cardmoms-8(powder)
Oil for frying-½kg
Ghee -2tsp
Seasom seeds or poppyseeds(roasted)

METHOD:

· Add 1cup water to grated jaggery &boil till get bubbles.
· Remove from the heat ,add cardamom powder ,ghee mix well
· Now add slowly rice flour ,mix it as poori dough.
· Sprinkle roasted seasom seeds on a plate.
· Heat oil, knead the above dough well&make it equal size(marble)
· Balls ,pat them like vadas&deep fry them in oil to golden brown colour.
· Roll them over seasomseeds(or poppy seeds)&serve them.
we can store them for 2 weeks .
